Islamabad, November 7 Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed heartfelt gratitude to overseas Pakistanis after the country received $3.4 billion in remittances during October 2025, showing an impressive 11.9 percent increase compared to the previous month.
The Prime Minister said the continuous growth in remittances reflects overseas Pakistanis’ confidence in the government’s economic and fiscal policies. He noted that their contributions are playing a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy and supporting foreign exchange reserves.
“Our brothers and sisters abroad are a valuable national asset,” the premier remarked, appreciating their dedication and patriotism. “They serve the country with the hard-earned money they send home.”
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the surge in remittances was mainly from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, and the United States, indicating a positive trend in inflows ahead of the winter season.
